Research Interests: Theory and applications of finite-difference time-domain (FDTD) computational electrodynamics spanning the spectral range from near-dc to light, including ELF geophysical phenomena, novel wireless interconnects for ultrahigh-speed digital data buses, UHF/microwave diffraction by buildings in urban wireless microcells, optical interactions with individual living cells and random clusters of cells, and electrodynamics of micron-scale optical devices.
